Still alive, and exploring WA

I've only got about 10 minute of internet time, so I've gotta make this quick. Jen and I are still alive, after a long, long, LONG train journey, and are currently exploring Western Australia. I am writing to you from the teeny town of Cervantes, about 250km north of Perth. We're here to see the Pinnacles desert, which we will do after dinner tonight. In the meantime, we're heading out shortly to explore the incredible beaches that ring the town.

The train journey alone will be a whole blog entry, and I don't have time now. Suffice it to say that the trip was long and horribly uncomfortable and I now understand why people get berths for trans-continental trips. Perth is a beautiful city which we didn't have nearly enough time to explore. I have survived my first attempt at driving a standard car. The scenery on this side of the country is spectacular. And that's all for now! Will write more when I have the time! Ciao!
