I've been spending a lot of time at my desk these last few days, what with catching up on blogs from our WA trip, trying to plan the next trip, and just general email etc. There is a fig tree (I think it's a fig tree) right outside my window, and the fruit is now ripe. Which means it's drawing all sorts of interesting visitors. So here are a couple of pics of who's been by - a Dingy Swallowtail butterfly, and a Rainbow Lorikeet.
The butterfly, at least, was quiet. When the lorikeets get going, the racket they make is deafening.
I took these pictures while sitting at my desk - all I had to do was fold down the top of my 'puter and put my camera lens on zoom. I love this camera! If I get any other interesting visitors at the window, I'll post their pics too.
